In the Tokyo Motor Show (TMS) event which held last November 2011, Honda Motor Co. has showcased electric sports car concept, Honda EV-STER. However, after the event ended the TMS 2011, Honda announced Honda EV-STER not only the usual concept car, within the next few years the car will enter production. As reported by autoevolution, Friday (16/12/2011) the statement is published directly by the CEO of Honda Motor Co., Takanubo Ito. He explained, Honda plans to bring the Honda EV-STERto the production process and akam marketed globally.
Honda EV-STER was in terms of design features a dynamic and innovative design, high performance while remaining environmentally friendly. This electric vehicle uses rear-wheel drive and a capacity of only two passengers with a convertible sport style. Furthermore, the maximum speed Honda EV-STER is able to penetrate the 160 km / hour. Pengoprasiannya claimed Honda’s much easier and on the steering lever designed much more comfortable, so that the driver’s gearshift lever is easy to reach.
In addition, this car is a new generation of sports model for electric vehicles that can maximize the pleasure of driving and at the same time the vehicle is able to achieve maximum performance for its contribution to the environment. The instrument panel displays information about the vehicle and display network audio and navigation systems and internet access. Layout of Honda EV-STER is designed so well allows the driver to concentrate fully and enjoy a comfortable space.
