VW XL1 SEV (Super Efficient Vehicle) Will be on India Motor Show 2012

The manufacturer Volkswagen (VW) is planned will be bringing a concept car called VW XL1 SEV (Super Efficient Vehicle) on the Auto Show 2012 will take place next January 7 to 11 in New Delhi, India. As reported by carscoop, in order to support VW’s eco-friendly theme of Think Blue, Drive Blue, VW XL1 judged appropriate to be one vehicle that is able to realize the Blueness of Volkswagen.

By using hybrid engines, VW XL1 can travel a distance of 130 km per liter. XL1 uses 2 cylinder diesel engine capacity of 800cc. This machine is claimed to be capable of producing power up to 48 hp with 27 extra hp from the electric motor. VW XL1 can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 11.9 seconds.

VW XL1 fairly light weights. By using materials such as aluminum, magnesium, ceramics and CFRP (carbon fiber), XL1 only 795 kg weight. XL1 planned to enter the production phase in 2013.
